Gefallen: An amazing place! The lodge was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, modern and equipped with high-quality facilities for guests. It is clear that the owner genuinely cares about every person who stays there. When we arrived, we were welcomed by the incredibly warm and friendly owner. She showed us around, explained everything clearly and even told us about the local area. She is such a sincere and kind person. We are extremely grateful for her hospitality. She was even flexible with our check-out time the following morning and did not rush us to leave. In the evening, we watched a beautiful sunset and had a wonderful time. The area can be slightly noisy, but this has also been carefully considered, as the lodge has excellent double-glazed windows that completely block out the noise, allowing you to sleep peacefully. The beautiful lodge and the owner’s exceptional hospitality made our stay truly special. Thank you so much, and we hope to visit again. We highly recommend this place!

Gefallen: Nice location, very close to Cardiff and surrounding area, quiet and convenient.

Nicht gefallen: Nothing bad about this place apart from parking area being a little small and bit inconvenient as you may need to reverse out onto main road.

Gefallen: Beautiful place. Clean bright and comfortable. Roomy and cosy. Location is great with lovely views and a woods walk if you fancy. You do need a car.

Nicht gefallen: To get to the BBQ and swing we had to walk through knee length grass. Getting legs wet. BBQ was full of water.

Gefallen: This place is amazing the shower is full power the kitchen has everything you need , it's a perfect get away its like a holiday , the hosts were fantastic always on hand and made us feel welcome , we had nice towels shampoos milk and coffee supplied and the price was very cheap for what we got in return I would definitely recommend, I don't usually write reviews but I felt this one I had too it was too good not to.

Gefallen: Absolutely everything! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking wall of windows framing the lush woodland views—it’s like living inside a postcard. The lodge is impeccably designed with high-end finishes, super-comfy king-size bed, a spacious open-plan living area, and thoughtful touches like air-conditioning, a fantastic sun terrace, and a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking a joy. The peace and quiet were unreal—we could hear birdsong and rustling leaves, yet it felt so luxurious and modern. Stepping straight out into the forest for peaceful walks was the highlight. Perfect romantic getaway or relaxing escape—spotless, cozy, and felt brand new. We didn’t want to leave!

Nicht gefallen: Honestly, nothing significant comes to mind—it was near-perfect. If I had to be picky, the only tiny thing was that we wished our stay was longer than 3 nights because it was so relaxing! No real complaints at all.
