Gefallen: The park is beautiful, the spa is very friendly, the food in the restaurant is very good, there was clearly attention to the design of the houses and the restoration of the park.

Nicht gefallen: The houses were not very clean upon arrival, especially floors, but also stains in rugs, couches, outdoor pillows... Also in the spa and the restaurant maintenance was lacking (doors not closing, showers not working...). It does not match the price nor the careful and intentional set up. The overall experience is great and the place would deserve a bit more attention.

Gefallen: The property’s surroundings and services were flawless, yet a critical credit card data breach led to my card being fraudulently used.

The hotel’s facilities and service were perfectly fine, but what happened during check-out ruined the entire stay completely. There is a severe risk of credit card data theft here, and I warn all travellers to be extremely cautious. I made my booking through Booking.com and already provided my credit card details online. The first night’s deposit was deducted automatically via the platform. The outstanding balance could easily have been charged securely through Booking’s official encrypted system, without me presenting my physical card. Nevertheless, hotel staff insisted that I swipe my credit card on their on-site POS terminal to settle the remaining bill. Trusting this reputed luxury resort, I agreed to do so. After I made this payment at the hotel, I kept my card on me at all times. I never removed it from my possession and never used it on any other POS machine anywhere else. At 19:43 local Portuguese time on 2 July, my card was fraudulently charged USD 986.22 by WDW TICKETS, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, USA. At that time, I and my card were still in Portugal, and I had never travelled to the United States. I only discovered this unauthorised transaction the following day while on my way to the airport. I have filed an official police report regarding this fraud. The only possible source of my card data compromise is the hotel’s POS device. This resort markets itself as high-end and private, yet it fails to provide even basic payment security. I strongly advise all visitors not to use their credit cards here, as your personal financial information is at huge risk. I sincerely hope Booking.com will thoroughly investigate this serious safety issue.

Gefallen: This was our second stay at the hotel, and it was a pleasure to come back. Once again, everything was excellent, from the spa facilities and the pool to the restaurant. We were able to rent a bike for our 3-year-old, and she had an amazing time! The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had another wonderful stay and would happily return again.

Nicht gefallen: The only minor issues we experienced were a clogged drain in the main bathroom and a leaking toilet in the second bathroom. These didn't significantly affect our stay, and we reported them to the staff. They were very responsive and assured us that someone would take a look at them.

Nicht gefallen: O pequeno-almoço foi muito pobrezinho não tinha muita variedade volto a dizer aquilo que se pagou por uma noite quase o 400 € o pequeno-almoço não não tinha nada de especial mas os empregados nada a apontar por excelentes

Gefallen: O Parque é muito bonito e bem conservado; associado aos edifícios antigos, trazem um sentimento bucólico, ideal para uma pausa na agitação da cidade.

Nicht gefallen: O edifício e instalações do spa estão bastante degradados: balneários com apenas quatro chuveiros e apenas um secador, os cacifos estão de agradados dando a todo balneário um ar bastante descuidado. Na área do spa e zona de tratamentos especificamente o ambiente não tem a decoração que transmita relaxamento, adequada ao nível que se espera. Exige-se muito mais face aos preços cobrados. Relação qualidade preço muito baixa. Mesmo nas habitações encontram-se copos lascados e louça mal lavada.
